Functionality Report

Windows Boot System is supposed to enumerate and display all available boot devices, and to boot the selected one.
It loads itself and it system files into memory and executes itself. The normal startup time of Windows Boot System is around one second.

It displays a list of available drives whether as text mode or as graphical interface. If there occur problems during setting graphics mode, Windows Boot System loads and uses the Text User Interface automatically.

Use following keys:

  • Up/Down key

    Select previous/next entry
  • Page Up/Down key

    Select previous/next page
  • Home/End key

    Select first/last entry
  • Return

    Boot from selected boot device
  • Escape

    Shutdown

Windows Boot System boots operating systems IBM-compliant, the Multiboot-protocol and Linux will be supported soon.
Network boot is under development and will be released later.
CD/DVD boot is already developed but the code is in review.
